what is time line therapy?

Time Line Therapy is a tool used by coaches and therapists to free clients from negative emotions and limiting beliefs that are holding them back. Time Line Therapy was developed by Dr. Tad James, who specialised in the field of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). It is a fast and effective approach that dismantles limiting beliefs and liberates clients from negative emotions tethered to past events, such as anger, fear, sadness, guilt and shame.

In a Time Line Therapy session, I engage the subconscious mind of the client by inducing a state of relaxation. Guiding them to a point in their past, prior to the emergence of negative emotions and beliefs stored in their subconscious mind, together we explore the events where these emotions and beliefs originated. Through a process of guidance, these emotions and beliefs are released permanently, while the memories themselves remain intact.

Time Line Therapy is not about erasing events from the client's memory; rather, it focuses on detaching the negative emotions or limiting beliefs linked to those events. Following a session, clients retain their recollection of past events but are freed from the weight of the emotional baggage that was once tied to those experiences – they are now able to move forward.

what can i expect from a time line therapy session?

Time Line Therapy sessions are held via Zoom and typically span 90 minutes. Throughout this time, we systematically address and release individual negative emotions or limiting beliefs. The beauty of this process lies in its efficiency — there's no need for repetition. You won't find yourself needing multiple sessions to tackle the same emotion or belief. However, it's worth noting that for larger obstacles encompassing a multitude of emotions and beliefs, additional sessions may be necessary to ensure complete resolution.

At the outset of our session, you'll find yourself in a relaxed state as we delve into the challenges you wish to overcome. Maintaining full consciousness, we'll collaboratively navigate the process of dispelling negative emotions and limiting beliefs from your subconscious, dismantling the barriers that are holding you back.

Post-session, it's not uncommon for clients to experience a moment of vulnerability, but this is usually followed by an overwhelming sense of relief and newfound lightness. While the timeframe for each individual's experience may differ, many clients typically begin to notice the positive impacts of the session within a few days.
