career transitions coaching with Lorna

Hi, I’m Lorna

I’m an ex-London lawyer turned coach who spent over a decade trying to find my life purpose and work out what I was passionate about, all whilst doing my best to heal from chronic depression and anxiety. Now I live in Melbourne and help other jaded millennials work out what they want in their career and how to get it.

I’m a coach because I believe in change and possibility. You don’t have to accept this is just the way it is. My approach is neither overly clinical or steely nor excessively spiritual to the point of spiritual bypassing. I won't peer over my glasses and tell you I know best for your life or career, nor will I suggest that you just need to meditate more or wait it out when you're banging your head against the wall.

I don’t offer quick fixes, because there are none. What I do offer is a perspective shaped by my own journey. As a former lawyer, I get it—I understand the pressures of the corporate world and the demands placed on high achievers (by yourself and the industry). I also know what it's like to sort out the laundry after an awakening. My coaching is grounded in real-life experience and an understanding of what genuinely works to create meaningful change.

My coaching philosophy centres on retrieving the lost parts of yourself, allowing you to remember who you are, clearly see where you want to go and how to get there. It’s like turning the final page of a book and realising the answers were always within reach.
